Scheibe-Alsbach Hand Painted Porcelain Figurine LE PRINCE EUGENE by Kister Porzellan, Vintage German Porcelain Soldier on Horse Collectible
This is a vintage German porcelain figurine depicting Prince Eugene of Savoy (1663 – 1736) one of the most successful military commanders in modern European history.
The figurine is of superb quality as it was made by Kister, the famous German porcelain manufacturer from Scheibe-Alsbach, renowned for their good heavy weight hard-paste porcelain expertly hand painted with very fine details.
Marked on the side with impressed number 12 and with a Kister Scheibe Alsbach marking (letter S with two crossed lines), a mark which was used between 1925 and 1972.
Stamped with a “dark green foreign” Countries imply marked their goods "foreign" between 1893 and 1923 meaning it was their export product, going outside their own country.

In excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or restorations. The colors are vivid and the golden accents are intact. A superb showpiece for a cabinet, shelf, or man's desk.
